Thank you to Members for the high engagement in Stage 1 of the Clubhouse Expansion project. A record 62% of eligible Members voted and over 150 Members attended the Special Meeting on Sunday. Members were asked to approve Stage 2 of the Clubhouse Expansion project which would allow us to work with the consultants to respond to member feedback on the design and cost, and develop a detailed design and Class B cost estimate for an expansion.
There were 255 votes in favour of the resolution and 272 against. As a result, the resolution did not pass.
The Board will proceed to issue a member survey in the coming days to obtain more insight into member perspectives on the needs, design and cost and take some time to review the results and consider next steps.
